Here at The Maker Society, we believe in the power of Doing It Yourself. This is why when the world experienced a PPE shortage earlier this year, we took to printing face shields for medical workers and essential personnel. Thanks to our donors and supporters we have been able to manufacture and donate more than 2,000 face shields to various locations all over the country. Now you can get your very own!
3D printed and assembled in California, we use a durable, lightweight plastic that fits snugly around the head, and is secured with an adjustable elastic band (optional). The shield itself is a clear acetate film that is easy to clean with isopropyl alcohol making it reusable. We are able to produce these quickly and are able to ship them out in bulk.
NOTE: The “Visor” variation is for the one with the extra forehead brim and elastic band.
