MAKER Updates #2

MAKER Series

The second making activity is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24^that5pm in ECS 304. We have to keep it under wraps for now.

Rule #1: You DO NOT talk about it.

The goal of the first MAKER Series was to introduce each of you to a new skill and show you another use for a 3D Printer. The next activity is just for fun.

Expect another invite this weekend.

BUILD Series: RepRap 3D Printers

BUILD Series 3D Registration is now in its third week and we’ve been getting a lot of registrations.

COST: $550 (for students) / $600 (for non-students)

The deadline to register is Tuesday, March 17th at 7pm in VEC 524 OR when it’s sold out.

BUILD Series: MAKERPad

BUILD Series 101 will now be held on Saturday, March 7^that11am in ECS 306.

The MAKERPad is a multipurpose electronics device you build yourself. You can play music, games, control things, and more. You are only limited by your imagination.
